In 1974 city of Spokane hosted Expo '74 was the first environmentally themed world's fair. The heart of the fair park grounds was located on Canada Island, Havermale Island, and the adjacent south bank of the Spokane river in the center of the city.

I was visiting my daughter in February and it felt like time travel. Weather was very nasty, with snow mixed with rain and the wind and after an hour walking around Spokane clinging to my umbrella I had this roll of film from my Rolleiflex.
