When rare snow falls in Issaquah, first artist I think about is Pieter Bruegel the Elder, painter of The Hunters in the Snow. Netherland's climate must have been similar to PNW, with heavy skies, muted colors and lack of details in the shadows. I love to walk slowly around town on a day like this.
