Fremont Solstice Parade is always a feast for the eyes and this year I felt like there was a full rainbow of colors - from golds of pleated capes to literally rainbow painted bodies of bicyclists. Rainbow ribbons were seeing everywhere in the crowds. Being on the streets and seeing people celebrating summer, being happy and proud for who they are, with no judgement makes me feel empowered and hopeful for humanity.
