Frederick Douglass once noted, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” For me as an educator this sentence rings true. What we teach our children and the examples we show them by doing will help form their future. I went to Women's March on Seattle as a mother, teacher, human, and photographer, to be a part of the historic event and to document it the best as I could. Seeing so many families with kids, grandparents, friends made me very happy.
