I've never made a camera before. But I always wanted to. And for my Middle School students I decided to offer a pinhole camera making class. After some research I found plans for a reusable cardboard 35mm pinhole from Francesco Caponi. I made my version to test it. Looks like this:
It is a box and a hole in it. Held together with rubber bands. I didn't have many expectations and went through the roll of BW film in three days, trying different exposures provided with the plans.

For indoor portraits people had to sit still for 27 seconds!
